A choice for women in midwifery care.

Registered Midwives respect the right of the woman to make an informed choice about the setting for birth. Midwives assume full care for the mother and her healthy baby in both home and hospital settings. Before birth, the midwife discusses with the woman her plans for the birth, and determines with her which would be the best choice for her.
